The food, the service and the ambiance are all top-notch at the Roost. They serve a wide variety of American style breakfasts. They even have potato pancakes! And yes the corned beef hash is homemade. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Go have breakfast or lunch there- you won't be disappointed.
Best breakfast in Chico. Hands down. I've never, ever, had anything bad here. Great service, every time (Sam is my favorite waitperson in town!).

Very good American breakfast with good portions. The farmer sampler was just the right mix of everything with two small pancakes. Add a side of gravy for more flavor town experience.

My very good friend who owns this place made this meal. Eggs Benedict. So good I highly recommend this meal. Well worth the 1.5 hr drive....
The food was great I had the Southwest breakfast. My grandson had cornbeef omelette and my wife a special bacon burrito and it did not last long before it was gone, we was hungry Everyone had good meals also. The restaurant was quaint and the waitress Ilyse was very nice and attentive.
